Getting into the Layout Thing

I am forcing myself to start doing more layouts. I have a ton of pictures and they are just sitting in boxes. So far its not too bad. I have joined the Big Sister event on Colorful Creations. This is an elimination type event so each week one person is "voted out". I am sure since I am a novice at doing layouts I will be voted out but if I can stay in for a few rounds that would make me happy. So far I have survived one week... Here is my LO for this week:
